Service Advisory: EOS 1-DX Mark 2 and SanDisk CFast cards
Canon has announced that when the EOS-1D X Mark II is used with some SanDisk CFast cards, image corruption can occur. The issue is card, rather than camera related and a work around is to shoot a few extra non-critical frames before powering the camera down. These may corrupt, but this will prevent and critical images for being harmed. Canon is considering releasing a firmware update to address the problem.
