Uwe Schmolke has shared a magnificent photo on Wetpixel’s Facebook page. It is quite popular, and with good reason. Here he shares how he got the shot.
Image of the Nudi (Miamira Magnifica) was taken in Komodo in 2012. I found the nudibranch during a night dive. I’ve realized the Nudi by its unique colouration immidiately. The nudi was on top of a sponge that was shaped like a leaf. The image I’ve called “Queen of colours” has been done against the reef structure.
