Nikon has announced upgrades for the firmware on the D7000 and D5100 SLRs. In the case of the D7000, this updates the “B” firmware to version 1.03, and fixes some bugs. The “B” software is responsible for image processing, while the “A” is for camera control, and in this update remains unchanged. The D5100 firmware becomes version 1.01 and again fixes some camera bugs.
The updates are available via the Nikon support site.
