Ocean Optics of London is moving

Ocean Optics, one of the world’s best known underwater camera shops, is moving (although not very far) to new premises in Central London (UK). Ocean Optics, specialists in underwater photography since 1976, are the UK dealers for Subal, Nexus, Inon and Subtronic.

Steve Warren of Ocean Optics told Wetpixel “We are delighted (and excited!) to announce that we are moving to new premises on London’s Strand. This expansion for Ocean Optics is much overdue and will provide us with much more space for properly displaying and demonstrating our equipment ranges.”

Steve Warren continued “We are also branching into diving and freediving equipment sales with
dive training and travel to follow. Mavericks Diving Limited will operate alongside Ocean Optics offering, we hope, our clients a one stop dive centre in the heart of London.

“Presentations by leading underwater photographers and photo journalists are also planned for the near futire. We will be moving over the weekend and settling in next week, we aim to be up and trading after the easter break. Please feel welcome to pop in when we’re open and see what we’re up to.

“Ocean Optics and Mavericks are at 7 and 8 Bush House Arcade, Bush House, Aldwych. We are just three minutes walk from our closest underground station, which is Temple, and about ten minutes from Covent Garden, Charing Cross, Embankment and Holborn stations.
