Selling my Panasonic GF-1 and 10Bar housing. Excellent shape and in perfect working condition. There are a couple minor cosmetic scuffs on the top of the camera from moving the camera in and out of the housing. Asking $700 for the camera and $750 for the housing. Thanks for looking!

Your asking price is the same as brand new price...if you wanna sell it quicker, the price may need to be adjusted.

You are absolutely right. I did a quick online search and the retail price I found was $850 which is what I remember paying. Anyhow, price lowered to $600. Thanks!

Why are you selling it? Thought you loved it! What are you replacing it with?

Is that the old back for the housing? Are they selling new backs?

Is the gf1 the right serial number/ age to run the crazy good video firmware?

What version of software is it?

Are you selling lenses too?

The price referenced above is FOB Singapore and doesn't include rather expensive shipping & insurance, extra parts or port caps, etc. Duties might also be due.

Thanks for the questions. It is a really nice package! I just don't get to use it enough unless I am shooting in one of my reef tanks. I live in Ohio, and I am not getting into the ocean nearly as much as I used to :)

Is that the old back for the housing? Are they selling new backs?

Yes, this is the original back. I'm not sure if they are selling the new backs.

Are you referring to the 1080p firmware hack? That was the only thing that really came up when I searched on google just now. I didn't catch anything about the age of the camera, but just so you know, my camera is one of the earliest GF-1's. I ordered it in 2009 when I read a review of the 20mm f/1.7 kit lens. Serial number is:FV9SA101962

What version of software is it?

My body is 1.2 and lens firmware is 1.1.

Are you selling lenses too?

Yes, the 20mm is included. I do not have any other lenses for the camera.

I don't think I want the old back, after reading through that whole thread.

A new back is possible, but the price is about $325.

Though the new back does look easier I use the old back and make adjustments on a regular basis with no issues. I wouldn't let it get in the way of a good deal if you find one. I surely wouldn't pay $300 to upgrade it. Maybe for $50 but even then I'd have to think hard about it.

I'll trade you for a G11 and Canon housing. ;)
