I've just started using a Panasonic LX-10 in a Nauticam housing. I've also got a CMC2 mounted on a M67 flip diopter holder, and have little experience with stills so sorry if this seems like a silly set of questions!
With the CMC2 flipped off, working at 24mm, the edges of the flip holder are visible in the image. Generally I'd have to zoom to more like 35mm where there is only a very slightly visible black edge (which is the flip holder)
Was looking for some advice on what members would usually do here?
- Take the flip holder off totally would be the easiest, but you never know when a nice macro shot might present itself! And would defeat the purpose of the flip holder...
- Would it be advisable to work at 35mm with the flip holder and CMC2 flipped off, or would some argue to shoot larger scenes at 24mm and then crop the edges out?
Thank in advance for any tips on this topic!
