Hello, all:

Just wanted to let you know that I licensed a documentary I did about a shipwreck off the coast of Cape Ann, Massachuestts to the Water Channel, which is channel 216 on the Dish Network.

Its first airing is this Saturday the 17th at 7:00 PM, so if you have the Dish Network, make sure your gear is rinsed and hanging up on the rack, make yourself some popcorn and tune in!

Aaron, this may be a channel special to Dish Network. Is there a 3 letter code, ie ABC, NBC, TLC, etc. for it? I can't find it on Direct TV.

Yeah, I believe that for the time being, it's specific to The Dish Network - channel 216.

It is my understanding that this is going to change by the end of the summer...

It's going to show for the next year, so hopefully some of those changes will mean you'll be able to see it.

(Is this the point when I mention that it's also available on DVD? B))

So what is the name? I have Dish, and can PVR it, but at 7:00PM there is Boat Racing on. Is it Still on her Keel by any chance? That is on at 5:00PM MST.

Hi, Ron:

Yes, my film is called Still On Her Keel. According to the Water Channel website, the times posted are EST, and the film runs at 7:00 with the boat racing to follow at 8:00.

Thanks for checking it out - would love to hear your feedback.

You and me both, mate! Hoping that the back-end of this first broadcast will help underwrite the investment in some HDV gear. DVD's been selling well regionally, but this would be a major coup for nationwide sales.
