In Topic: Intova Double Ball arms - diameter?

Since nobody seems to know, I just ordered two of these arms. They are compatible with ULCS arms! I paid only 7.50EUR per arm, in the US they are even cheaper (6.95$ at Adorama). A rare gem - an item for uw-photography that does not cost a fortune!

got two 8", will (intend to) use with net floats as they fit well in the central hole on most floats (10-12 mm). just worry about ball-rod joint. this arms are made not as a solid thing, alike ULCS (INON, Nauticam...)

The main and worst thing in a real UW UV fluorescence, speaking about at least UV-C range, is the fact that polycarbonate will cut out all UV under ~450 nm. So, by using a standard UW strobe you will be unable to get UV-C – tested with YS-110a. LED light for 360-390 nm is very (VERY) expensive and not intensive a much. (several hundred mW of UV radiation)

definitely it looks like, but where is a DS-TTL "mimics"? assume there is a false triggered action on zero point on the gpaph of PL1 strobe, possibly caused by sensor overloading as a reason of short FO cord and high level of light. Here the graphs with "attenuated" FO cord. Winth a different level of attenuation.First - a high, second - low attenuation.

Believe the question about rechargeable batteries is more complicated than just a simple choice of brand/technology and capacity. Type of charger might be even more important than particular batteries itself. As far as understand, to simplify classification of different chargers we can divide it into two groups – fast and slow. Guess an optimum is somewhere in a middle of this classification, but what the “middle” is?
