Anyone here have been diving the southern dive sites at Sudan's Red Sea ?

Have been episodes of coral bleaching recently in that area ?

I will appreciate any recent information

Here is a video I just checked, from this year. From what I see, it seems fine, no bleaching, at least in the video didn't notice any...

I spent 2 weeeks in southern Sudan in may of 2017. No bleaching and healthy reefs. Just don’t expect too many hammers. Saw a few schools but they are way too deep down if you plan on going there during western spring/summer

Enjoy! Very few boats down there and lovely weather makes for a good liveaboard. They are fishing sharks like crazy in Sudan tho tho theres not many at all. Other than that its good Diving imo.

Not sure how much my video reflects the healthiness or the reefs there but heres a little something I shot.

Saw!

Beautifull!!!

I guess it is impossible to shoot macro with the 60mm with no tripod. Am I right?
