Just letting people know that i've just listed my Ikelite Substrobe DS-125 on ebay. The strobe is in very good condition, and i'm more than happy show people the item in person if they're in London.

pm for more information.

for the listing

http://cgi.ebay.co.u...f#ht_545wt_1139

I can send to anywhere, but will have to work out the postage if sending ou of mainland UK (within the UK it's 10)

cheers

Looking at the serial number it will require the Ike mod to work fully in TTL mode....

.. or has it been done already?

The circuitry hasn't been updated. However, i've checked the TTL with Camera's Underwater, using a Canon G11 and Ikelite housing and it was working fine. Personally even when using the Ikelite housing before i changed to Sea and Sea i used the strobe on Manual control and I know most dSLR user do as well. In this case it wont be a problem. I also believe (but could be corrected) that the TTL would only work on ikelite to ikelite.

if anyone is in London and wants to check the strobe in person (at Camera's Underwater) i'd be more than happy to meet.

I got this quote for a fella in New Brunswick

1 - up to 5 days (50 compensation if lost) - 42
2 - up to 3 days (200 comp) - 63
3 - 5+ days (50 comp) - 40
4 - UPS 6 working days 50

i'd imagine i would be more the further along. If you happen to be in Alberta then i might be able to get it there much cheaper (a friend is flying to Edmonton early next week).

if you give me your post code i will try and get a more accurate quote.

Fair point and a very generous offer!

Same price as the New Brunswick quote then. If it's anymore i'll cover it (i can't imagine the cost will be any higher).
