The Digital Shootout 2009 Bonaire has just begun! Joel Penner will be posting daily news live from Bonaire. We'll be updating the front page here at Wetpixel when each day's update is ready.

It was a little more challenging getting to Bonaire this year with fewer flights available. But we all made it and so did all the gear, especially the Backscatter boys who had 13 checked bags full-o-demo-gear in addition to their carry-ons! Lots of familiar faces back again to dive-shoot-dive-shoot-dive. And some new faces too, who will I'm sure, give some of the regulars a run-for-their-money when the contest starts! Boat diving starts tomorrow, so there'll be lots of great images to post very soon. Check back often!
