The over-under shot is fantastic. That cloudy sky compliments the subtle blue-gray tones on the calf and mother.

Love the silhouette from underneath. How deep were you to get the whole whale in frame?

Love the silhouette from underneath. How deep were you to get the whole whale in frame?

I was only about 10m under the surface. The Mother and calf were resting on the surface in a shallow sandy bay so a perfect opportunity to get a new perspective!
