Wetpixel members Jose Alvarez (elbuzo) - Best of show, Ralph "Larry" Oberlander (Lionfish43,) Keri Wilk. and Matt Segal all placed in the Underwater Images Photo Contest. There may be others but I don't recognize the names.

yeah! there's me in the queue! Csaba Tokolyi (macro novice 1st and w/a novice HM)!!!
Congrats to all fellow wetpixel members! (Actually I'm here in read-only mode for some time now, but nowadays I started posting )

so let me introduce myself in a few words: I'm a graphic designer, I live in Hungary, Budapest. We have no sea here unfortunately but in half a days driving one can get to Croatia and there are nice waters there! I started uw photography "seriously" like a year ago when I bought an Ikelite housing for my D200.

AND THIS IS MY FIRST "BIG" PRIZE SO I'M LIKE IN THE SEVENTH HEAVENS, YEAH!!!

I'll jump in also, I dont know to many people over here.
first Congratulations Csaba and everyone else.
I had the HM in Macro Open "deep throat' which also got HM IN BTS.
Also in BTS I got first in macro w/pygmy

Csaba your seahorse portrait is a killer !! i liked very much .

Seems that the gallery have a problem , i was unable to open the macro - open category .

The black batfish is also my favorite ! It's was really difficult to photograh because it didn't stop moving, also i think it was the most gorgeous creature i ever found . Was like a butterfly in overdrive.
