Tony Wu blogs from Tonga: Week One with Humpbacks
Author: Tony Wu
This continued for the better part of an hour at least, until we decided that it was best to leave them alone, and we exited the water.
That has to be a difficult decision to make!

Anybody know what lens Tony is using? I'll be in Tonga in ten days hoping to see some whales myself.
Things going well this week. Will update soon.
Quick answer re: lenses - all wide angle obviously. I'm on Canon, so 17-40mm and 15mm are primary ones I use, both with full frame.
Canon 5DMkII, 7D, 1D MkIV, Zillion housings + way too much other junk.
