About Me

SCUBA diver since 1958, original home in New Jersey, dove under ice in 1960 with 3/16th " suit
that I had to continually repair (brrrr). We dove year around.
Tried u/w film (8 mm) in 1961 in a bubble soft housing w/ glass and ring clamp.
Dove the wreck of the Rhone in the Virgin Is soon after graduating from high school.
Progressed to 16-mm in the late 1960's, moved to California, joined LA County Instructors (17 UICC).
First film (16 mm) "Symbiosis in Blue" 1969, then "Innerspace Vibrations" in 1971
Worked for Healthways in 1969, became a US Divers salesman in 1972 (sold many aluminum tanks)
Made 16mm films "Ocean Gallery" and "Inner Visions" and won awards 1972 - 1974.
Joined the Cousteau Society diving and filming team in 1975, worked on Calypso and dove with Captain Cousteau, Falco, and Bernard Delamotte. Gave 100's of Cousteau Society lectures thru 1980.
Continued with independent films with the documentation of OTEC-1 (Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion)
in 1981, This show, OTEC-1 now on my You Tube channel is the #1 viewed program of the 62 videos I have posted.
