Hmmm...... I don't want to mess with sectors etc, I only run one simple business statistics program on the PC, would just love to have something that if the drive crashes, I simply boot from the backup drive and move on. I have Ghost, so I think I will create a mirror drive so that if and when the drive dies at least I will not have to reload the system software etc, and then just do simple backups of the one file that I use for the stats program. Does that make sense?

Yeah ... the incremental back-ups would be trickier, but that would work.

Is there a PC equivalent to Carbon Copy that I can create a straightforward bootable backup with daily incremental backups?

I use Acronis Home. Very fast ... and I've successfully restored from backup several times - usually to increase the capacity of my system drive.

(Hey Jeff! ... been SUPER busy building a new business ... )

Jeff ... I agree with Phil ... I think the safari shots work a bit better than the U/W ... although I love the humpback ... and on that one I might be tempted to clone out the two small fish and what looks like a few dust bunnies.

These will look amazing on the right fine-art matte paper with the right framing and presentation.

Any suggestions for the "dream kit" would be greatly appreciated!

Hey! ;-)

My current dream kit would be:

- Canon s90 (or s95)
- Fisheye Fix Housing
- 2 X Inon S2000s
- Fisheye Fix Super Wide Fisheye Port
- Stacked Macro Adapters like the UCL 165s

BTW ... I have been underwater since I saw you in St. Croix ...

In Topic: Why are my photos under and overexposing?

Hi hi, these are the unprocessed photos from the RAWs I took in Fiji...
Maybe you guys can better see what's going wrong apart from the fact I'm not really getting close enough in most photos! :D
It does just look to me that either the SS isn't fast enough and they're a bit blurry or the strobe and shutter aren't synced properly in manual (Most of these photos were in manual if not all!)

I think strobe positioning could be your problem.
