I am looking for recommendations for new flash cards for my canon 20D for an upcoming trip.

Are 4GB compatible with this and is there a better brand?

If I upgrade, do I need a new card reader, or is the slow upload to a mac power book a function of the card?

thanks for your help

Over here there is a list of cards that were tested with the 20D

I asked the same question a few months back http://wetpixel.com/...l=Compact Flash and I went with the SanDisk IV Extreme. (which seem to be slower than the IV 2GB in that chart for some reason.) I love the cards so far, fast an reliable. I use the SanDisk FW800 Reader on my Macs, and it is a pleasure to use.

It may be worthwhile to get more 2 GB than 4 GB based on pricing since you can get alot of shots with the 20D on a 2GB. (Though on the SanDisk IV two Gigs is $54.95 and four gigs 92.64 at amazon, so price per gig better at 4 Gigs, though other brands can have a bigger difference.)

Rikdata was also recommened, but I di not pick up any yet.
