This shot was taken last novembver in the northern Red Sea wit a Canon S40 in a WP-DC300 housing with internal strobe only. It was shot as an JPG.

Nice shot,
My too points:
- The front fin is cut.
- It seems you added too much red in the Level Correction (I can't be sure cause my monitor at home is really bad)

I like the position of the turtle, and agree with the previous poster.

I think you also might try cropping on the head and get a close up since the back of the turtle and reef really aren't adding anything.

Finally, use your clone tool or if you have PS7 the patch tool and clone out that blown out spot behind the turtle.

Good capture!

Thanks for the comments:

Do you think of something like this?

Sorry for the bad quality, but I did the corrections on the small posted image.

Nicecrop, it has the plus that we canb avoid the overexposed area, but on the other side i like to see more of the armour than in your crop because it make the turtel look more "turtel-like".
What did you use to enlarge the image? The result is stunning.

You can keeo the pic on your server. it 'may help others.

Sure be happy to leave it Simon. I agree with you on the shell as I look at them both. I just enlarged on PSLE got lucky. Normally i will use either Adobe Raw convertor or most often i Use Fred Mirandas SI action for photoshop.
