So I've done some looking around, maybe not enough but im interested in making a snoot. I know that the size and materials will very for strobe, but there must be someone out there that has made one and can just get me started with some ideas.

Hey dude, I had a go with some snoots a while ago, been using them a lot and its great fun (hehe, and crazy frustrating at times!).

Check out the archives. There are several goes at it on here. I used one of the ideas this time last year and made one for less than $20 from supplies I got at Lowes - all from a wetpixel post - supply list and directions. It worked great.
