The reason I thought that I would share this, is to encourage more people like me .. who sit with 1000's of images on their hard disc that sometimes its worth sharing them.. 


After taking pictures for a couple of years underwater, a couple of months ago I decided perhaps I should do more than just sharing my pictures on FB with friends [To be honest mostly I was just embarrassed that people on dive trips would ask me what I did with my pictures to which I replied nothing].


I was sitting at an airport in Ecuador, looking at Nat Geo waiting for a flight - so with naivety I entered a picture for an online story .. no editing just white balance - done on a travel laptop.  Wow it was chosen out of 15k, then it was used for photo of the day the following month. In the last couple of months I have had a couple more pictures selected for the daily dozen.


So sometimes it is worth sharing ..
