The Underwater Strobe Finder, prepared and posted in 2004, is no longer available.

To make a current Finder available, I have researched and listed current 2019 UW strobes with their properties, in Excel spreadsheet format.  It has a number of blanks, as complete information is not available, and there is no uniform reporting format of strobe properties such as light output.  Some strobes are in the process of being marketed, others are being developed and their information may be premature.

I am attaching it as an Excel spreadsheet, I hope it transfers properly.  If not, please tell me how to send you the spreadsheet so that members can use it and update it.  Thank you.

I have tried in Excel and in Word format, then have emailed it to myself, it emails OK, but when

I use the Wetpixel editor, the file is garbled.  I am open to suggestions as to how to send a Table format.

Put it on Google sheets and share it.

Unfortunately, BB Code cannot recognize the formatting of Excel or any other Office format.

Perhaps if you share the spreadsheet with me, I can post it to the front page?

All the best

Sting Ray suggested I post the spreadsheet on Google Sheets, as Underwater Strobes.

Done.

It should be accessible to all.

I hope you can add columns and information of common interest.

For example, it is useful to know how much light strobes emit, but a common measure is

not used by the manufacturers or advertisers.  So the Column Light Output needs work, as

do others, for valid comparisons.

For the price, I used the lowest price in US $ or Euros quoted by a reputable dealer.

The list of available underwater strobes is in Google Sheets as a spreadsheet so that members can update or correct it.

The nice thing about the Google spreadsheet is that its commands are easy to learn, and are available on the pull down menus.

The Available Strobes spreadsheet definitely needs work, including strobes I missed and added columns of relevant data.

As I just now retired to Mexico to eat tortillas and beans and sleep in the sun,  if you find errors or have additions or suggestions, please feel free to do your own editing.
