I have been working on fine tuning my macro video set up. I am there however based on past experience and looking at the angle of the LCD I am pretty sure it will be hard work without a monitor

GH5 Video Macro Rig - 1 of 1.jpg

I have done a blog post here https://interceptor1...-panasonic-gh5/

With all the reasons why it has the parts it has but open to suggestions discussion etc

Have you seen the new 7" monitor from Hugyfot? Seems like a good deal if you don't need any recorder functionality, and relatively small.

The 5.5” DiveAndSee HDMI monitor is a good option with good monitoring tools and long battery life:

Sure but $2500+ and in Europe €2700 seems excessive

I had the opportunity to test the Hugyfot Vision Hero housing during a demo day and the monitor quality is superb.
I guess their standalone monitor it's the same.... 1500

€2000 for a 7” screen with no functional logic when you add HDMI connections seems a lot of money
There are no functions to help exposure or focus and no controls

2,500 USD equals 2,231 Euro and still a lot of money. Beside the ease of use, what I like about it is one less housing to worry about. Just worry about the camera housing :)

That is the approach am following integrated product not monitor and housing. Makes everything smaller
