Brian Skerry TED Video shows us how it's done. A solid talk with some wonderful images. Between he and Eric they covered the ground pretty well. Interesting to see how many people who commented on You Tube don't have a clue how bad the problems are. Thanks to Damien for sharing this with me.

You can always embed youtube this way:
[ youtubehd ]0HEXx3-P8kk[ /youtubehd ]
(eliminate spaces and substitute with youtube video id, which is in the URL)

(or by using "youtube" instead of "youtubehd" for 4:3 material)

I watched that a while ago. Bravo to Skerry for saying things a lot of people don't know or don't want to hear. It takes guts to tell the truth.
