Congratulations are in order for our very own James Wiseman. He was selected as the HUPS Member of the Year at our November meeting.

Its great to see that James is well respected by his peers both at HUPS and here on Wetpixel. Thanks, for everything that you've done for HUPS. You deserving of this accolade.

Well done mate!

I often feel like setting up something like HUPS in Melbourne, but I'm not sure there is much demand. Good on you anyway.

Thanks guys and gals! I really appreciate it.

It sure is nice to be recognized my my local underwater photo society - I have helped out a lot, but it's really because it's so fun and I've learned a lot from that group of great photographers.

I like to think that I can "think globally" and make a global impact with the work we do here at Wetpixel, and at the same time, work locally here in Texas with HUPS. It's pretty cool.

And Todd - I won't let it go to my head, don't worry. But in the future can you please refer to me as "gold member?" :-)

Cheers
