In June next year I am running a Digital Techniques Workshop in collaboration with UWP Magazine and Tony Backhurst Scuba in the North Red Sea.

The timing of the trip is to catch the schools at Ras Mohammed:

But it is also a great season to do the wrecks and to get lots of fish behaviour photographs.

The main aim of this trip is to help you get the images you want. It is not a strict course where you have to shoot what I tell you or anything (although I will certainly be encouraging you to try the Magic Filters and the Telephoto (see above) technique). That said I will not be shooting (seriously) for myself and will be happy to help everyone throughout. You will be free to dive as you want (within reason!) to get the images you want.

This trip will be taking in the colourful reefs, dramatic schools and picturesque wrecks of the North Red Sea. I have been shooting the Red Sea at exactly this time of year for years and know precisely when to dive each site for the best photographic conditions.

Plus UWP Magazine will be bringing a variety of kit for everyone to try and test. And Tony Backhurst is providing the luxurious MV Typhoon liveaboard.

Anyway I have been overrun since getting back from Cayman. But once I am back from Antibes next week I want to sort this out. Please email me before then if you are interested.

Price is £975 (all in, from London to London).

Alex
