How did you find Wetpixel?
Posted 27 October 2005 - 11:18 PM
Was searching for underwater photo contests on Google and wetpixel came up. I entered that contest and started reading some of the threads and decided i could give some good insight seeing as i had done nothing but take UW photos for the previous 5 years...but i didn't know jack about digital other than scanning my slides. This sight became an invaluable resource to me in figuring out how to get the best out of my scans as i had trouble ever getting them to look the same as my glossy, saturated Fuji film.
Ever since then wetpixel has become an addiction and i am honoured to now be a mod!
Thanks for the last 18 months of great community interaction.

I was looking up all the material I could find about High-Def video on the web and I came across a link to your site. I think it was from either Video Uni or SonyHDV info..

The recommandation was split between wetpixel and digidiver. Wetpixel's interface is much better, so i started posting and reading here initially, and havent looked back.

Spring of 2002......I was researching an Olympus c4040 for underwater use and found a link.....as my limited memory serves me
Ditto, did my first photo dive with a rental camera, the film got lost in the mail. So, I wanted to see about buying my own camera. Loved the idea of a digital as I could processs the pics myself.
