So you have now won this and an award at Antibes with my lens. That is fantastic.
And to think I scratched the front element of my 10.5mm when I first got it back in 2003. That must be the secret.

I wonder what exotic destination to choose ! Great whites in Guadalupe ? Pygmies in Lembeh ? Edible crabs on the South coast of Britain ? hmmm... Maybe not the edible crabs. B)

I spoke to the guys at the BBC this morning. I have the choice for the assignment. Obviously, I want to do my bit to promote the underwater world.

You could choose the West Coast of British Columbia, Canada. Cousteau said it was the best in the world. I go every year because it is that good. IMAX was there this year.
Then you could buy the beer.

JP, definitely do something that is big and exciting as it needs to appeal to average punter on the BBC website. But you also want something reliable - otherwise it will become pretty stressful if the critters aren't turning up.
I'll caht more when I see you this evening.

Cousteau said everywhere was the best world at some point or other, Todd! But BC would be very cool. I agree.

Damn that Cousteau. I did not know that.
But, as you said BC would have some impact. The coloUr rocks and big critters...well Humpbacks, Orcas with a few Sea Lions and Seals. Giant Pacific Octopus but, they skunked us this year. One year we got sick of them there were so many.
Have fun with it!

Heck just for fun I told my zipper to leak each dive. Just enough to put a chill on the end of the dive.
If you want warm water...you should join Alex for Bahamian Tiger sharks and dolphins. I think he is doing that this year.
