Great White Sharks / Guadalupe Island

Isla Guadalupe is the best place on the planet to encounter Great White Sharks in the wild bar none! Here, the sharks are large and plentiful and are by no means shy.

This is my third year leading this expedition that has never seized to simply amaze all the come with me. For photographers it is unmatchable in productivity.

The island lies some 160 miles off the coast off Baja California and over 200 miles southwest of San Diego in open ocean water that has over 100 feet of visibility.
We will be using the luxury live-aboard SOLMAR V to offer the same level of service you have been enjoying aboard the Searcher for many years.

An additional note: We will also have a filming cage which is actually open at either sides of the cage, giving us much more shooting space.
