Hi all,
to show my pictures in the pub, I have 3 company's printed my pictures on real fotopaper.
Number 1 - I don't now how, but my Canon S600 makes better pictures. Not chemical (laserprinter), bad colours, 80gr. paper?
Number 2 - Using Kodak equipment and paper. This was excellent. Nice colour and detail, real fotopaper.
Number 3 - Using Fuji equipment and paper. Good Colour, bad detail, real fotopaper. Because of the bad detail the picture looks not sharp.
20x30 cm looking excellent. 30x40 was also looking great. Tested only on Kodak.
The camera I use is a Canon G2. All pictures convert to JPG 2271x1514 pixel (foto format is 2:3 or 3:2 instead of 3:4 or 4:3). Only the 30x40 cm foto is converted to jpg 3189x2126 pixel using Photoshop.
You can also read our experience at http://members.tripo...o/index_ned.htm, section "Afdruk". This is only in Dutch, sorry.
Mike.
