I just review the Ike site, after drooling while looking at the new DS200, a brilliant idea come to mind.
Look very similar to my SS200.
Is it possible that the fine engineers from Ikelite can upgrade my strobes with the guts of the new DS200?

There have been some discussion on this topic on Wetpixel previously. It is possible to upgrade the circuitry for a fee, and I believe that some members here have already done so.

It is possible to do with an expected cost of five hundred dollars. We are not encouraging this update because of the age of most SubStrobe 200 models and their old battery packs.

Thanks for the qute Ike.
Anyway, after thinking about it as trying to push a square peg in a round hole I ordered a new DS 125 from B&H.
UPS delivered today.
Is it going to be dual strobes in TTL from now on.
