Here is a short (1.5 meg) Quicktime movie showing a Montastraea franksii spawning at the Flower Garden Banks:

If you look closely, you can see the individual egg packets float free. I grabbed a few of these packets when I got back to the surface, and they resemble teenie tiny bags of graps - where each "grape" is a coral gamete. Pretty cool!!!

These movies were shot with a Coolpix 990 in an Ikelite housing with an Ikelite Pro Video Lite.
