February's meeting is on February 15th at the Maritime Museum, and begins at 7:30 p.m. We will be collecting membership dues for those of you that missed the January meeting, and any of you that wish to join. Bring a cheque! We are looking, of course for people to serve on the executive. Active photographers are most welcome. Remember, the Society depends on members' participation. We are excited about the enthusiasm and ideas shown at the last meeting: let's put those ideas into action! The Winter newsletter has been sent out. The website has been revamped:

Kudos to CJ and George H.
PLease consider helping on the executive. The pressure's off with no competition, so it will be much simpler. Only a few meeting's to plan, and a couple of social events.
On the Valentine's theme, please bring images of pinks and reds and things you love.
March 15th is a meeting not to be missed! Dave Behrens, nudibranch expert and author of numerous resources on marine life, will be doing a presentation on my favourite subject, Nudibranchs, and discussing his two new books, Nudibranch Behaviour, and Eastern Pacific Nudibranchs. Copies of his books will be available. Members: free, Non-members are welcome, with admission by donation.

See you soon,
Marli Wakeling
