Tripod thread on Ikelite 350D housing

Hi, just a quicky, can any Ike 350D owners tell me if the baseplate has a standard tripod thread on it?

Notorious, I think you need to clarify/refraise your question.

I think you are wanting to know if you could mount the housing to a tripod? If so, the answer is NO.

Perhaps it could be modified to fit a tripod.

The ikelite housing can be equiped with an tripod. I know people who do this. Check this webpage to see an example. Also in the Do It Yourself forum you can find a thread about this subject (underwater tripod).

It is not difficult to add a thread into the alloy handle to mount on a tripod - I did mine and have the data & pictures if you want it.
