While Mac users haven't been a big target for those nasty viruses that PC users seem to get, and I've never gotten one myself, there are a few of them out there. There have been some reports of malicious code invading through an archived file downloaded and automatically opened by Apple's Safari web browser. To protect yourselves, go to the Safari preferences to the General tab. Uncheck the box next to "Open 'safe' files automatically after downloading" This may help as well as keeping up to date with the Security patches from Apple which you can find in your Software Updates under the Apple Logo in your desktop menu.
Hope this helps,

I have worked as an unpaid reviewer for the editing websites since 2002. Most all hardware and software is sent to me free of charge, however, in no way am I obligated to provide either positive or negative evaluations. Any suggestions I make regarding products are a result of my own, completely, personal opinions and experiences with said products.
