Hi there,
Well seeing as everyone is moving to HDV its time for me to follow the Jones' and make the move. As such I have a complete underwater filming rig up for grabs which would be a nice starter package for an entry level user. I must say at this point the camera, Sony DCR-VX1000 is PAL standard and is also in need of a service as the playback function no longer works. This was an ongoing problem with this particular model and the fault lies in the fragility of the relay ribbons from the controls of the playback being located on the moving parts of the tape carriage assembly. The list of goodies is as follows:

1 x Sony DCR-VX1000E (PAL standard) 3CCD Camcorder
1 x Sealux underwater housing with following controls:
Stop / Start
Record
Zoom
Focus Near / Focus far
AE selection
Shutter Speed
White Balance Selection and Manual Setting
Iris Controls
Manual / Auto Focus
2 x Ground glass Dome Ports (one slightly scratched can be buffed out if needed
1 x Ground Glass Flat Port (pristine condition)
2 x SeaBright (from Sealux) video lights variable from 35 to 50w (45min @35w - 25min @ 50w)
2 x Fast chargers for lights (approximately 1 hour to charge)
1 x Balancing wing for housing
1 x carrying handle for housing
1 x External Filter holder
1 x Sun shade
1 x .5x wide angle lens (mounts on the camera inside the dome)
1 x Rubber eyecup for the VX1000.
Large selection of batteries and charger.

Other accessories include a transport bag for the camera and various lenses and filters for topside shooting.

Please photoshop@fishnfins.com for further information and photos.

ASKING PRICE - U.S$2,250.00 the lot. WIll not break items, the buyer pays shipping.

Regards,
Mark.
