With DEMA coming up shortly I am sure anyone that is going will be able to actually put their hands on some of these new housings!!

Aquatica have announced their intention to have their D80 housing too market ASAP.
With some luck you could probally get one with a new expanded viewfinder.
All the bells and whistles to get it wet. about time things stated happening........

Aquatica will most likely be designing a housing for the D80. ETA 4 months, two weeks. A little birdie told me. The new viewfinder will work with it as well.

Hi Trevor,
I think that pic is of a very early prototype which was rushed for the d80 release promotion. I'm sure ther ewill be changes. Not accessing AE-L/AF-L would be a problem. This housing WILL be Aluminum & Poly, like the d50.
Sea & Sea is already test diving prototypes in Japan, and hopes to ship domestically in October. I expect we'll see them in November in the US.

That's interesting. Perhaps I was a bit hasty comenting on my post of that DX-D80 image if it was only a prototype. It can't be far off the mark though.
Sometimes it's fun to scan japanese web sites to see what new kit is in the pipeline. No doubt DEMA will throw up some more information.
