Thanks for that, Ralph. There is a list of Iceland Foreign Service in various countries. Please feel free to let them know how negatively this reflects on Iceland and its citizens, even the Miss World Types.

I just don't get it. There is such little commercial value in whaling and so much damage to be done in the name of tradition. I also think these little nations are looking for attention and trying to flex what muscle they have in an attempt to snub the world powers. (Japan is an exception in that it has real world power but acts just like one these little nations when it comes to slaughtering cetaceans name of tradition).
I was once on a boat with some Norwegian divers and they were actually defending the practice of whaling. I was shocked. How could they be divers and defend such a practice in the name of nationalism. I then had to remind myself how many people are out there that hide behind the banner of a nation regardless of what wrong it commits.
(Please note: i am certain there are a lot of decent Norwegians who are apposed to the practice of whaling...unfortunatley it seems they are a minority in their country)
