FOR SALE
Ewa-marine U-AX

I used this housing “Once!” It cost me €250 from camerasunderwater. I am willing to sell this for €140 or best offer...Postage will be €20 worldwide.
If you happen to be wanting this type housing, rather than buy a new one from a shop; buy this one....its the exact same condition. I have it about 6 months.

I couldn't think of anything good to say about the ewa marine “housing” I bought, so here is a blurb from their own website:

Quote:
ewa-marine photo housings are suitable for nearly all types of compact - and SLR cameras, often also with winder, zoom lens , flash gun and autofocus lens. These housings are very robust, despite their light weight of approximately 500 gr., to offer a long and dependable service life.
The ewa-marine camera housing will not only enable you to take impressive underwater shots at depth of 10, 20 or even 50 metres (depending on the type of housing) but also allow you to take your camera into the most hostile environment (humidity, seawater, spray, sand, dust) without having to fear for the safety of your camera and lens.
The special sheeting used for the housings is moulded and welded by elaborate process. They are fitted with a front port made of neutral, high quality optical glass. These and a number of other features (depending on the model) will help you shoot pictures that will be the envy of your friends.

To be fair to the housing, I was able to try out my ttl speedlite in the housing, which was interesting enough. The results were impressive for a first tryout.

Reason I didn't like it is because I couldn't maneuver the camera underwater as the housing compressed too much against the camera. This made it hard to adjust functions on the camera. I dive in cold water conditions that don't allow for flapping about with this type of setup!
Good enough, just not for me!!

If all else fails ill stick it on ebay sometime.

Thanks
Derek
