Hi Bob...
I'm in Egypt (stationary in El Gouna) from 6th - 20th March and my current customer will kill me if I ask to stay a week longer on vacation ;-) I would love to join you but: sorry no chance!

But you stated in another thread that you are in Egypt the whole (?) month so maybe we can meet when you have the day between the cruises (probably thursday) for a beer or twelve....

I will be on the Royal Emperor which is based at the Hilton (I think) south of El Gouna. Do you have a mobile? Or email me from the Cyber Cafe and you can come see us on the boat.

I have to take a group of Russians wreck diving in Abu Nuhas first week (1st - 6th)

No that will be all in I'm assuming. Call Diving World in London for booking and deals (Mohamed Oweiss).

Southern Red Sea is not Practical at this time due to unpredictable sea states.

21st trip does Abu Nuhas & Brothers.

I am there from 28th Feb - 28th March.

How would one from the US join in? Tickets to London are cheap at the moment. I've been looking for a trip in March and though it might be a bit more flying time than I wanted, the price seems pretty good. Is this Diving World the same as divingworld.com?

Hi Mike,

Basically you fly to Gatwick UK or Heathrow and get the shuttlebus. The flight leaves Gatwick at around 09.30 for Hurghada. Return Flight Hurghada is included in $1500.

email for bookings is surf@diving-world.com Tell them I sent you and you will get a good price. There is still space on the 21st March trip only. Very popular boat as it always goes and does what it says... Plus a really great crew.

I'll send them an e-mail. My only concern is what our illustrious President has planned for the region about that time. As one of the guys I work with puts it -- pretty soon Americans are going to be about as welcome around the world as a pimple on the end of your nose. Sigh . . .

So you say you want to rule out every dive vacation in the Middle East and almost all of Southeast Asia then? :D

No, simply that one has to give it a bit of extra consideration given the immediacy of the situation . . .

Oh Bob I wish you would'nt post photos like that. Its not good for the credit card. I could just do with a week out there.

Do me a favour and call home, speak to Deb and force upon her the need for me to have a weeks break while she looks after the kids. Tell her I sound as if I need a break from the stresses of work.
