I am trying desperately to find the long lens support (for the 200mm AF micro) used with the OLD Aquatica A4s housing.

The part number is 18787 (I think).

Unfortunately Aquatica do not have any and can't/won't make another for me.

Jean is doing his best to help me out with some info/dimensions etc.

I was hoping someone new of one sitting in a box somewhere, or maybe even just a possible place to start looking. The auction site etc are no luck.

I am on my knees and begging for help.

I may have one. I will check.

I have the 18454, sorry wrong one.

But....are you sure that it is 18787?

Helix Photo in Chicago has old Aquatica stuff.

They list:

NK18443 Macro Port Extension: Aquatica 3/4/4s/90sx for 200mm/4 AF Micro Nikkor

If this is the correct port extension, then you are in luck. If they are out of stock on this one you can see if they have any that match the threading on the housing. You can always combine a couple of them to make it long enough.

B&H dumped most of their old stuff on Ebay, but may still have some odd ball stuff. It is no longer listed on their website, so you will have to call.

Good luck.

Actually, what Dave is looking for is the lens support for the AF 200mm, not the extension. I'm going trough the filing cabinet looking for the drawing, at least short of having one, i'll get the specs and he can make one.

Meanwhile, back to the dusty files... :(

Oops, my bad. I actually accidentally sold mine. I sold my old film setup and forgot to take the support out of the flat port.

I've used the 200mm without the support since then without any problem.
