Welcome to the Northern California Underwater Photographic Society (NCUPS) forum!
I'll start with a little information about NCUPS. Active since 1957, we'll be celebrating our 50th year in 2007! Our goal is to sponsor local educational events on both underwater photography and video while promoting awareness of the underwater environment and marine ecology.
NCUPS meets on the second Friday of each month beginning at 7:00 p.m. A typical agenda includes a 45-minute educational session, a feature presentation and a mini-competition. Educational seminars are given by NCUPS members, or guests; featured presenters are often well-known underwater photographers or video professionals. Meetings are free and open to the public.
With this forum I hope to spread the word about what we doing and when. More information on NCUPS can also be found on our website http://www.ncups.org.
We love visitors, so if you're going to be in the San Francisco Bay area on the second Friday of the month, join us!

Hi Kathy,
Congratulations on fifty years as a UPS. It was nice meeting you and a few of your members at DEMA. Looking forward to wealth of information your members can bring to this fourm.
