Having been naive when i dove over that part of the world last .. is the entire ball the anenome ? Whatever it is .. it looks great with the Gold fonts everywhere.

When does he have time to shoot, he's always on here?He might have slow, very slow internet but he sure can take a picture
Maybe the slow connection is the key to it. He types in an address or clicks on a link and has a dive while the page loads. Lovely image, one that is a fantastic example of not always having to be in your subject's face all the time. To me these are the most difficult images to get right, as the non-subject (the empty space ) is as important as the subject itself. Congrats.

Actually the shot is from Palau. Yes, Giles, that is the magnificent anemone, they ball up like that in feeding mode. They come in a variety of different colours on the underbelly.
