NDR: Playing with my new 70-300VR

I occasionaly get exicted about a topside image and post it on Wetpixel. That how I felt about the images from yesterday's shoot when I viewed them on the computer. So far, I'm very pleased with the 70-300VR.

Beautifull colours and composition; I think I see one of those in my future.

Nikon D800, Nikon D7000, Nauticam, Inons, Subtronic Novas. Lens collection - 10-17, 15, 16, 16-35, 14-24, 24-70, 85, 18-200, 28-300, 70-200, 60 and 105, TC's. Macs with Aperture and Photoshop.

Very nice! I bought one of these too and received it a couple of days ago. But it has been nothing but rain here (yes, it rains in Hawaii too). I will try to do some surf photography over the weekend and post here.
Nice shot by the way, great colors, some more details? Tripod or hand held? I found the VR to be very good in this lens.

This was shot pre-dawn: f11 @ 1/2 sec. The VR is good but not that good. Tripod mounted.Very nice! I bought one of these too and received it a couple of days ago.
