FYI...
If you're in the San Francisco Bay Area and looking for something really cool to do this weekend, the SF Ocean Film Festival is an annual event presenting films from all over the world with the ocean as the primary topic. There are environmental films, underwater films, surfing films, fishing films and more. There is more information on the website http://www.oceanfilmfest.org.
Randy and I went last year and will be going again this year. A couple of friends showing films include Edward Snijders, with a film on cape fur seals and effects of seal harvesting; and Perry Pickert will be presenting Seas of Change, a 28 min. documentary on overfishing in the Virgin Islands and the disappearance of the Nassau grouper.

Hope to see you there!
Saturday afternoon and evening sessions fill up very quickly so if anyone is planning to go to those two sessions arriving early is advised.
