The Orange County Underwater Photographic Society was created in the late 1960s by a small group of dedicated scuba divers who shared a common interest in underwater photography.
Today OCUPS has over 70 members who share that same interest. We welcome all levels of underwater photographers to our monthly meetings to share new skills and techniques, show some favorite images, make new friends, and have fun while learning. If you're new to underwater photography you'll find many experienced photographers who are willing to help you get started. We also love visitors, so if you're in the area and can attend a meeting, please stop by to say hello.
Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. every second Tuesday of the month in the city of Orange. At the meetings we introduce a guest speaker, offer technical tips and workshops, show off our image captures, and conduct a monthly mini-photo contest for all skill levels. There is also an annual photo contest with big prizes.
If you like scuba diving and underwater photography and would like to meet like-minded people who share a sprit of adventure, come join us. You can learn more about our club at OCUPS.org.
