Scam-shop. Reseller Ratings: Express Cameras gives it a 0.37/10.

One customer says:

WOW! This place should be renamed the house of fraud. Got all the way through my order, when phone salesman sprung on more than a thouand dollars of addl. charges.

In short, do not buy from Express Cameras.

If it looks too good to be true, it probably is. Stick with reputable dealers.

I've recently learned to check with the Better Business Bureau web site, http://www.bbb.org/ , before buying anything from an online store you have never dealt with before. The BBB has an unsatisfactory record rating for Express Cameras especially in the areas of Advertising, Sales Practices, Refunds, and Bill Collections.

Recently, on my search for a Secure Digital, SD, card for my new D80, I came across a web site called QMemory.com. I placed an order for their 8GB 150X card for $189 USD. This seemed like a really good deal! Well, after waiting for two weeks , I was notified that the SD card was on back order. I wrote 4 e-mails and personally called the company 3 times over the next 2 weeks to find out what the problem was and how long the usual expected wait time on a back-ordered item was? I never once got a response to any inquiries. By this time I am really wondering if I have been taken for a ride. I checked out the BBB web site to find that this experience is not unusual with QMemory. I immediately cancelled my order and within minutes got an automated cancellation response. Hopefully, I will never be charged for any transaction with this comapny, because it will be nearly impossible to receive retribution. ;)

Lesson learned!
