Not the digital image sensor. Digital doesn't have any advantage over film in this respect other than convenience. Both image sensors have fixed color temp. Both can be digitally changed, but film has to be scanned first. Film most likely has a higher native color temp and wider dynamic range, so it is arguably superior to digital when it comes to color adjustability in the digital domain.Digital has the advantage of being able to change color temperature vs. film.
