On this Memorial Day Weekend, SCUBA divers will converge on Monterey, California to compete for top prizes in one of the most unique underwater photo contests in the United States. This is a one-day competition open to all underwater photographers of all experience levels. All photos (film or digital) must be taken from beach dives along the Monterey coastline on Saturday May 26. A panel of judges will select the winners on Sunday May 27, with winners being announced and prizes awarded on Sunday afternoon!

The entry fee of $60, if postmarked by May 18, 2007 ($75 thereafter), includes film and processing for film photographers, Saturday evening dinner and presentation, t-shirt, and an opportunity to win a door prize at the awards ceremony on Sunday. Approximately $30,000 to be awarded in gear and trips to exotic dive destinations.
