Mark, I'm interested to know what white balance modes you're using on your Z1 when you shoot macro with lights. Do you use a preset or do you manual white balance on something illuminated by your lights? Also wondering what WB setting you're using for wider stuff without lights.

WB using the lights. I had to do that a lot seeing as I would use different levels of directness with the lights. More light angle than other subjects meant a higher degree of illumination in some scenarios. For most of the wide angle stuff with a color correcting filter I set to default outside WB and correct in post. Personally I don't see any benefit below 8m to use manual WB.
