I picked up an Olympus 770 sw as a backup camera recently. Took it to Grenada, Key West and took some good daylight topside and UW shots. Fairly closeup the strobe is OK for artificial illumination at night but am still evaluating that aspect of it. There is liberal Photoshop'ing in the article but that is often the case when I shoot available light UW images. The video is as a rule clearer off youtube.

Last weekend, I took out a 50 year old underwater swimming device and the 770 sw to grab some stills and video clips for an internet article on both. The swimming gadget never caught on but probably should have. With 50 years of subsequent development we could achieve astounding things today instead of burst UW to as much as 6 mph.

The write up is at: http://fksa.org/forumdisplay.php?f=90 under "Amazing Underwater Flight!"
